Hot take: My local library started a data privacy workshop
They taught us how to clean up our digital footprints and opt out of data brokers. It felt like taking back a little control over my own info. Pretty cool to see community spots pushing for this.

Based and library-pilled.
Wait, did they get into the specific tools or sites to use? That's awesome. It feels like basic digital self defense that everyone should know, but nobody really teaches it. I love that libraries are stepping into that role, it makes that info way more reachable than some tech blog. Seriously cool to see a public spot help people take back some control.

Worry libraries are already spread too thin for this, @faith_hart20... that digital defense stuff needs its own dedicated space.

Yeah, I saw a thing about that on a local news site.

Totally agree about it being basic self defense. Libraries are perfect for making that stuff feel less scary.
