I was at a town hall meeting in Eugene about a new traffic camera system. The city said the data was anonymous, but then a guy showed how you could track a specific car for weeks.

I read about that happening somewhere else, it's never really anonymous.

Yeah, "never really anonymous" is why I started using a fake name and a separate email for those surveys.

Saw that happen here too, @amy_craig28. Always ask for the raw data policy, not just the sales pitch.
