Pulled my location data off my phone carrier, found 9 months of tracking I never agreed to
So I filed a privacy request with Verizon in Austin after reading about the data broker mess. They sent me a 47 page PDF of every tower ping my phone made, even times my GPS was off. I knew they collected some stuff but not the exact cross streets at 2am on a Tuesday. Has anyone else actually read their full disclosure file and found stuff that felt way beyond what the terms said?

And that 47 pages is just the tip of the iceberg honestly. Wait until you see what they hand over if you ask for the actual call detail records, those have the exact durations and every single number you texted. It's wild how they make you dig for it too, like they're hoping you'll get bored and give up.
