A deepfake of my uncle changed my mind about voting
My uncle sent me a video of our mayor saying he wanted to cut police funding. I was ready to vote against him. Then I found out it was a deepfake from a Facebook group. The way they made his mouth move was perfect but his eyes didn't blink right. Now I double check every political video before I share it. Has anyone else caught a fake that almost tricked you?

Yeah, I almost fell for one where the guy's smile just seemed... off, didn't track right.

That uncanny valley thing is real with some of these AI faces. The eyes especially never seem to blink or track at the right speed, throws off the whole vibe.
