Paid $120 for a deepfake detection tool, it flagged my real wedding video
I bought that new AI spotter software last month to check a clip my cousin sent, and it told me my own wedding footage from 2019 was 94% fake. The algorithm was so paranoid it called my pastor's glasses a rendering artifact, which makes zero sense. Has anyone else had these tools cry wolf on genuine recordings, or is this just a scam for gullible archivists like me?

Those detection tools are basically just guessing with extra steps.

Actually studies show most of them hit 98%+ accuracy on the right samples, so they're doing way more than guessing.
