Showerthought: does seeing a deepfake of yourself make you question your own memories?
I fed a few old photos into an app and it made a video of me dancing at a club I've never been to. It looked so real that for a split second I doubted if I actually went there. Has anyone else had that weird feeling where your brain almost believes a fake memory?

Danced right into an existential crisis there @samflores, at least your brain went with dodging bullets instead of convincing me I'm a backup dancer in a boy band video from 2005.

My buddy showed me one of those apps where it swaps your face into movie scenes. He put my face on that guy from The Matrix dodging bullets in slow motion. I sat there watching it and for a second I actually thought, did I ever take a martial arts class I forgot about? Then I remembered I threw my back out last week picking up a sock off the floor. Brains are dumb sometimes.
