Vent: That security camera footage from the 7-Eleven on Elm Street
Went to grab a soda last night and saw the clerk replaying a video of some guy who looked exactly like me stealing a six-pack. But I was at home watching Netflix with my roommate at that exact time, and she backed me up. How are we supposed to trust any video evidence now when some random person can just copy your face and pin stuff on you?

Bro you're not even safe committing crimes while sitting at home now lmao. Guess we all need alibis and Netflix timestamps just to buy milk.

Got caught in a similar thing last month when my roommate @davidkim swore he saw me at a gas station across town but I was literally in bed the whole time. The footage looked exactly like me down to the hoodie and walk, but I had the receipt from my doordash order to prove I was home. Makes you wonder how many people are getting blamed for stuff their face double did while they were just living their life.
