Found a deleted Reddit thread about a massive crypto scam from 2021

Archive link showed a guy warning about a pump and dump hours before it crashed. Got screenshots saved before the mods nuked the whole thing.

That's the kind of stuff you want to backup immediately, because once it's gone it's usually gone for good. I'd stash those screenshots in a few different places just in case, like a cloud drive and a physical hard drive too. If you ever need to prove what happened down the line, having that kind of timestamped evidence can make all the difference.

Three different people messaged me about the same Bitcoin investment group back in early 2022. I saved the warning screenshots from a Discord server that got nuked within 48 hours of the rug pull. One guy lost $12,000 and he only joined because his cousin vouched for the admin. I keep my own backups on an old phone that never connects to wifi anymore, just in case. The original thread from 2021 probably had similar warnings that nobody wanted to hear until it was too late.

Actually, @the_jamie, I think your dates might be a little off. The big Discord rug pull with that "Bitcoin Elite" group happened way earlier, like late 2021. I remember because I was following the original thread on a crypto forum before it got deleted. The admin was using a fake identity tied to some Thai influencer that didn't even exist. The screenshots you saved are probably gold though, especially if they show the wallet addresses before the server got wiped. That old phone trick is smart too, I do the same thing with a burner Android for anything sketchy. Just make sure the timestamps line up, because some people try to argue the date metadata was faked later lol.
