Found a deleted Reddit thread about a restaurant that got shut down for health code violations

I was scrolling through old forum archives last night and stumbled on a thread from 2019 about a popular diner in my town. The OP posted a video of roaches crawling over prep tables during breakfast rush. The thread got removed by mods within 2 hours, but someone had saved a screenshot. I checked the diner's health inspection records and yep, they got shut down 3 weeks later. Kinda creepy how fast that stuff gets buried. Anyone else ever find deleted posts that predicted real events?

Did you ever show those screenshots to your friend who worked there? My friend Jenny bussed tables at a place called The Griddle in 2021 and she told me the owner would spray bleach on the moldy walls right before health inspectors showed up. She quit two weeks later and the place got shut down for roach infestation three months after that. Someone posted a review warning about it on a local food page but the owner got it taken down within a day. It's wild how much gets scrubbed before people can see it.

That Griddle place sounds just like a diner near me that painted straight over black mold before inspections.

Vale_bailey66, I have to disagree though, some places genuinely clean up and fix issues after getting caught.
