Paid $60 for a deleted fan edit and got nothing but a dead link
I found a niche fan edit of an old show that got scrubbed everywhere, and someone on Discord said they had a copy for $60 via PayPal. I sent the money, they sent a Google Drive link that was already flagged for copyright and dead within 2 hours. I checked the Wayback Machine and forums, but no one else archived it either. Has anyone else lost cash on these black market deleted files, or did I just get scammed by the one bad apple?

Sucks you got burned, but $60 for a deleted file is always a gamble. Treat it as a costly lesson and move on.
