The deleted recipe thread that saved my sourdough bake

Last month someone posted a 20 year old forum thread about feeding starter with pineapple juice, then it got nuked before I could bookmark it. I screenshotted the key comment about skipping the first 3 days of discards and my loaves finally stopped tasting like vinegar. Pineapple trick works way better if you also ditch the lid for week one.
