Watched a livestream get nuked in 90 seconds flat, archive lost it all
Last Tuesday I was watching a small streamer in Portland do a deep dive on deleted forum posts from 2012, and the whole channel just vanished mid-sentence. The video was gone before I could even hit record, and the wayback machine only had a blurry thumbnail saved. I get why platforms pull stuff fast, but it makes me wonder how much real history we're just letting rot in a server room somewhere. Anyone else got a clip they were too slow to grab?
