Brought my laptop to a meetup at the Detroit Shipping Company

WiFi died during my demo and I had to present from a phone hotspot with 2 bars. Has anyone else had venue WiFi totally fail at a crucial moment?

Nah I used to think venue WiFi was fine too but that phone juggle sounds brutal.

Didn't @roberts.leo actually say venue WiFi was fine for them before though? The phone juggle was about running the thing, not the network dropping.

Hot take here, but planning to rely on free venue WiFi for a live demo is kind of asking for trouble. Always carry a backup plan like a dedicated hotspot or at least tether your phone before you step up there. Would have saved you that awkward phone juggling moment.
