Just crossed 50 five-star Google reviews for my landscaping biz
Started my company two years ago in Ferndale with just a pickup and a mower, and last week I hit 50 verified reviews without ever asking a single customer. Most of them came after I started sending a quick text with photos of the finished yard the same day I finish the job. Anyone else find that little workflow tweaks make a bigger difference than buying fancy gear?

Jump right in with a laugh at myself - I once spent an entire afternoon mowing a lawn and accidentally mowed over the customer's sprinkler head. Water shot up like a geyser, soaked me head to toe, and I had to finish the job dripping wet like a drowned rat. They still left a glowing review because I fixed it free of charge and finished the job anyway, my clothes stuck to me like wet paper. Legit businesses aren't built on perfect execution, they're built on how you mess up and make it right. My yard is basically a test ground for everything I've learned the hard way.
