Saw a pitch deck for a Corktown startup that confused revenue with profit.
The founder kept saying they made $200k last year, but their costs were $220k. Happened at a meetup on Michigan Ave. How do people miss this basic thing?

Yeah, I used to mix those up too until my accountant explained it with my own numbers. That loss is a tough lesson to learn in person.
