The coworking space wifi died during a demo, blew the whole pitch
Last Thursday I was showing a client from Ann Arbor our new inventory software at a shared office on Woodward, and the network dropped at the exact moment I hit the live demo. Turns out the building's router had been overheating for weeks and the manager never replaced it. Anyone else have a tech fail happen at the worst possible second, and how did you spin it?
Damn, that's brutal. Had a similar thing happen last year when the projector in our conference room died right as I was showing a potential client our quarterly numbers. I just laughed it off, told them the hardware was punishing me for not bringing donuts, and pulled up the same charts on my laptop. Luckily they were cool about it, but I still double check every cable and hotspot before any meeting now.
