Was dead set against electronic injectors until a 6.7 Cummins proved me wrong
My old school mechanical buddy had me convinced electronics were just more stuff to break, but after swapping in a factory reman unit on a buddy's 2016 Ram last week and seeing the fuel economy jump 3 mpg, I'm rethinking everything. Anyone else come around on something they hated for years?

My buddy still gives me grief saying I've gone to the dark side but I tell him at least my truck doesn't sound like a blender full of bolts anymore. Figured I'd eat my words about electronics being useless, turns out I just needed to eat crow instead. The fuel savings alone makes up for the price tag on that reman unit, still hurts to think about though.

Same here. Mechanic for years, swore off electronic injectors till I saw a 6.7.

...and I was the exact same way, swore up and down I'd never own a truck with electronic injectors after dealing with a buddy's 6.0 that was nothing but problems. Then I bought a used 6.7 three years ago with 150k on it and it's been the most reliable diesel I've ever had. Still makes me nervous when I think about the fuel system cost if something goes wrong, but honestly it's been night and day compared to what I was used to.
