Bought a $300 drawing tablet and it completely changed my workflow

I've been doing all my digital art with a mouse for years, and finally saved up for a basic screen tablet. The first week was rough, but after forcing myself to use it for a client's character design, my line work got way cleaner and faster. Has anyone else had a tool that felt awkward at first but ended up being totally worth the cash?
