Can we talk about how we used to just post flat jpegs on forums?

I dug up a piece I made in 2012 with a basic mouse and a free trial of GIMP and compared it to the same idea done last week with a Wacom tablet and Krita, and the difference in line control and color blending is like night and day, you know?

Yeah, totally get that. I found an old sig banner I made in Paint Shop Pro 7, and the lines were all jagged from using a mouse. Now with a tablet, I can actually make smooth curves and blend colors without it looking like a muddy mess. The old stuff has heart, but man, the control we have now is just a different world. Makes you appreciate how far the basic tools have come.
