It really does change how you see things huh. Same thing happened to me around 600 subs on YouTube. Suddenly every new follower feels like a bigger deal but also makes you realize how many more you gotta get to feel like you're actually doing something. It's weird how the number itself stops being just a number and starts feeling like validation or a goalpost. I was happier at 200 than I am at 600 sometimes.

That 'feeling like validation or a goalpost' part hit me hard. I used to think chasing numbers was the whole point but now I get how it messes with your head.
