I picked a Wacom Cintiq over an iPad Pro for my main digital art setup

Everyone in my local art group in Portland said the iPad was the obvious choice for portability and Procreate. I went with the Cintiq 16 because I wanted a bigger, dedicated screen and to stick with my full desktop software like Photoshop. After six months, I don't miss drawing on the couch, and my workflow is way faster. Anyone else stick with a traditional tablet over a mobile setup?

Stick with my full desktop software" is the real key for me too.

Full desktop software locks you into one machine, which feels like a step back. The flexibility of working from any device with a browser is hard to give up once you're used to it. Jana881 might be missing out on that freedom. Modern web apps are way more powerful than they were a few years ago.

Jana881 nailed it. Full desktop software is just more reliable for serious work flow.

Wait, what full desktop software works in a browser? Photoshop and Clip Studio still need to be installed, right? Web apps are getting better, but they're not the same as the real desktop versions yet.
