My portfolio review crashed in front of 40 people at a gallery in Austin
I was showing my latest digital series on a big screen and the file got corrupted about 3 pieces in, just this gray box with a spinning wheel. I panicked for a second, then pulled up my phone and walked everyone through the sketches from my Procreate history instead. Turns out the raw versions got more questions and compliments than the finished ones. Has anyone else had a backup fail mid-show, and what did you fall back on?

Always keep a low-res export on your phone before any show. Saves you every time. I had a drive die right before a critique, ended up pulling up my cloud backup on someone's laptop and it saved the whole thing.
