Tried posting daily drawings last year and gave up after four days. My "focus shift" was just forgetting to charge my iPad.

My 17-day drawing streak died the exact same way. Now I keep my iPad charger plugged in right next to the couch (where I always draw) so I see it. Setting a phone alarm for 9 PM just to check the battery percentage also saved me.

Actually leaving my drawing tablet out on the desk instead of putting it away made a huge difference. Seeing it sitting there ready to go was a way better reminder than any alarm. Took the pressure off posting every single day but still kept me drawing regularly. My stuff definitely improved when I stopped worrying about the daily grind.
