Rant: I used to post my art online without any real plan for it.
For a long time, I'd just upload a finished piece to my gallery and hope people saw it, which meant my best work from 2021 just got buried. Last month, I started making a simple 'showcase' post for each piece, telling a short story about the idea and my process in Blender. Has anyone else switched to treating each upload more like a mini event and seen better feedback?

Wait, you had work from 2021 just sitting there?

You mentioned telling a short story about the idea. That really works because it gives people a reason to care beyond just the image. I started doing something similar by sharing a single technical problem I solved, and it gets way more specific, useful comments. It turns a post into a conversation starter.

Had a buddy who used to just dump his car photos online. He started writing one line about where he found the rust bucket, and his likes tripled. People just want a tiny hook to grab onto.
