Serious question, did anyone else not know about the 'save for web' color profile setting?

I lost a whole commission's color accuracy because my client's monitor showed my art totally washed out, and it was just the export settings in Photoshop. Has this messed up anyone else's work before?

Oh man, that's the worst feeling. I had a whole batch of product photos look super dull on a client's site once. Took me forever to figure out it was the same kind of thing, just exporting from Lightroom wrong. Felt like such a basic mistake but it really throws a wrench in your day.

Ugh, that export setting trap is the worst. @beth276, was it the color space messing you up, like sRGB versus Adobe RGB? I swear that gets me every single time.

Remember when people said color space didn't matter for web? That mistake sure proved them wrong.
