Spent 6 hours trying to fix a brush texture glitch in Procreate

I was working on a portrait commission and the brush kept leaving weird gaps every time I lifted the stylus. Turns out it was just a pressure curve setting that got reset after an update, but I wasted a whole afternoon troubleshooting. Has anyone else had an update mess with their default brush behavior like that?

Damn, yeah. Did you check if the Apple Pencil tilt settings got switched up by that update too?

Wait, tilt settings too? That update really messed with everything. Ngl I never even thought to check that because I just assumed tilt was tilt and they wouldn't change it. Now I gotta go fiddle with every single setting just to draw a straight line again. This is the kind of update that makes you wanna throw the whole iPad out the window.

Double down on that pressure curve thing too... I had to reset all my Apple Pencil settings after that update and it was a nightmare finding where they hid everything in the new menu layout.
