Spent a weekend comparing CSP brushes vs Procreate brushes for comic style lineart
I've been using Procreate for years but kept hearing about Clip Studio Paint being better for comics. So last weekend I drew the same character panel in both apps using default brushes. Procreate felt smooth but the line stabilization was way weaker. CSP's vector layers blew my mind. I could adjust line thickness after drawing without losing quality. My comic pages looked cleaner in half the time. The only downside is CSP's interface feels cluttered compared to Procreate. Has anyone else switched and found a good CSP brush pack that mimics Procreate's wet acrylic feel?

i heard from a YouTuber who does comic stuff that CSP's vector layers basically pay for themselves in time saved. that lines thing you said about adjusting thickness after drawing, i tried that once on a friends tablet and it felt like cheating but in a good way. the cluttered interface is real though, i always get lost in the menus. i remember someone saying you can hide most of the panels you don't use and save it as a workspace, that might help with the Procreate comparison.

Whoa, easy there, you're talking like this is some life changing secret and not just a drawing tool? I mean, sure, vector layers are handy if you're doing pro comic work, but for the rest of us messing around, it's just another way to waste time fixing lines you could've just redrawn. Hiding panels and saving workspaces, that's been a thing for years, but it only helps if you actually bother to learn the layout, which most of us never do.
