Got blocked by a local restaurant for posting a bad review

I was sitting in my truck after pressure washing their patio last Tuesday, checked their page and saw they deleted my 2-star review about the cold fries and rude host. Has anyone else had a business scrub your honest feedback just because they didn't like it?

Cold fries AND a rude host? They're lucky you didn't bill them extra for that attitude.

Did you try posting it on a different platform like Yelp or Google? I had a similar thing happen with a mechanic who tried to hide my review about them overcharging for a simple fix. I just reposted the SAME review on Google Maps and added a screenshot of the deleted one for proof. It got way more attention there and they couldn't do anything about it.

That trick with the screenshot is genius! I'm usually tech savvy enough to take a picture of my food before eating it but dumb enough to forget to back up a review I actually typed out.
