I think the EU's new Digital Services Act is a bigger mess than people admit
Last Tuesday, I saw a small history channel on YouTube get taken down for a video about ancient Rome because their AI flagged a statue as 'adult content'. The channel had 50,000 followers and it took them four days to get back online after appealing. Everyone says these rules protect us, but watching a good channel get nuked by a dumb bot over a marble statue made me question the whole system. Has anyone else seen smaller creators get hit hard by these new automated takedowns?

My cooking channel got flagged for a pepper once (true story).

Flagged for a pepper... makes you wonder if the algorithm saw the shape and got confused. Like it thought it was something else entirely.

That pepper was probably next to something else that got flagged.
