My brother warned me my political meme page would get flagged, and after it got taken down last Tuesday, he was annoyingly right.

He said the cartoon about the mayor of Phoenix would hit the 'misinformation' filter, and now I'm stuck appealing to a bot, so has anyone actually won one of those appeals or is it just a black hole?

Actually, that's a really important point ben_lewis made. A perfect zero for appeals could mean you lost every single one, which is probably what most people get. If you've never lost an appeal, you'd say you have a perfect record or a hundred percent success rate. The wording totally changes what it means. I mean, I've never won an appeal either, it feels like sending stuff into a void.

Actually, a perfect zero would mean you lost every single appeal you ever filed. I guess you mean you have a perfect record, like zero losses. That's a pretty big difference... zero wins versus zero losses. Might want to clear that up before someone takes it the wrong way.

Figured I'd try appealing once and my record is also a perfect zero, but that's because I've never actually won one. Maybe it's the same thing. Honestly, I think the appeals go into some sort of digital trash bin where they hold a little funeral for my meme and then delete it forever. The bot probably reads my message, laughs at it, and then moves on to the next one. At this point I just assume anything I post will get flagged eventually, so I don't bother fighting it anymore. Saves me the headache of typing out a long explanation that nobody will read anyway.
