My old blog post got unblocked after a 7 month appeal process

I wrote a piece last year breaking down a city council zoning fight, and the platform flagged it for 'harmful local misinformation' and removed it. After filing appeals every few weeks, I got the 'restored' notice yesterday, with zero explanation for the initial takedown or the reversal. How is anyone supposed to follow rules that seem to change at random?

Heard a similar thing from a buddy whose restaurant review got pulled for no clear reason.

Actually, @jessechen, that's usually a copyright claim from a photo.

Seven months is insane for an appeal. That's longer than some leases. Makes you wonder if the initial flag was even a real person, or just some bot that scans for keywords like "zoning" and "city council". @jessechen's buddy's restaurant review thing fits the same pattern, totally random. The lack of explanation after the fact is the worst part, feels like they don't want to admit their system is broken.
