That one time a random mod on Reddit showed me the ropes
Got banned from a sub for linking to a rival forum, but a mod messaged me privately and explained how to phrase things as 'discussion starters' instead, which kept my posts up for 6 months straight. Has anyone else had a platform insider give them a workaround like that?

Read a study recently that talked about how platform algorithms basically REWARD certain phrasing over others, even when the content is exactly the same. @anna491 your YouTube story totally backs that up, it's like learning a weird secret language to get past the bots. Mods who actually explain that stuff are gold, they save you from banging your head against a wall for weeks. That "discussion starter" trick is smart because it signals to the system that you're asking for opinions instead of just stating facts. Platforms are basically giant guessing games until someone on the inside shows you the cheat sheet.
