That time a mod told me my VPN posts were useless, they were right
Ngl, a moderator on a tech forum told me my 3 VPN comparison threads were just noise because nobody reads past the first page. They pointed out I should focus on one specific censorship case instead, like the one in Vietnam last spring. Has anyone else gotten blunt moderation advice that actually improved their posting?

My third VPN post got the same treatment back in 2022, and I was honestly salty about it for a week. But yeah, they were spot on, my one deep dive on the Iran filtering situation got way more replies than all the comparison stuff combined.
