Appreciation post: My portable monitor in Bali was a total game changer

I spent my first month in Canggu trying to work off just my laptop screen, and it was honestly a struggle. Then I grabbed a 15.6 inch Arzopa portable monitor for about $150, and the difference is crazy. Having that second screen for my calendar and research tabs while I write emails has basically doubled my focus. Anyone else have a piece of gear that seemed small but made your work setup way better?

Check if that monitor works with a regular wall outlet. Mine needs a specific power brick that was a huge hassle to find overseas.

@irisowens Actually most modern monitors use standard IEC C13/C14 power cords. The ones that need specific bricks are usually the ultra-thin portable ones or certain Dell Ultrasharps. I had a 27-inch LG that just used a normal figure-8 cable like a PlayStation. But yeah those weird bricks can be a nightmare if you lose them overseas.

Feel your pain, that single screen life is rough. A second monitor really does change everything.
