Broke my favorite travel mug in a coworking space in Lisbon last week
I dropped it on the tile floor at Second Home and the ceramic liner shattered into pieces. Has anyone found a travel mug that actually survives the digital nomad lifestyle and doesn't leak in your bag?

I've had two Yeti mugs survive drops off an old fire truck lol.

Oh wow, I don't think Yeti makes mugs with ceramic liners (they're all stainless steel, right?) so that might be why those survived so well. For the digital nomad life, maybe look for something fully metal or with a silicone seal - I've had good luck with a basic stainless steel one from KeepCup that's survived my backpack tumbling out of TukTuks in Bangkok.

Read something the other day about how stainless steel mugs actually dent instead of shatter, which makes a big difference with travel. @the_olivia, your KeepCup survival story sounds pretty impressive, especially with the TukTuk action. I've got an old Stanley thermos that's been dropped off a ladder at work probably a dozen times and it still works fine. The outer paint is all scraped up but the vacuum seal held up somehow. It's the kind of gear you don't think twice about tossing in a bag.
