I finally took a client's advice on my workspace setup
I was working from hostels in Chiang Mai for 6 months and my back was killing me. A freelance writer I met at a coworking space told me I needed a real chair and not to cheap out. I spent $40 on a decent office chair at a secondhand shop here and it changed everything. My productivity went up because I wasn't shifting around every 20 minutes. Has anyone else had a random piece of travel gear advice that actually stuck?
$40 seems pretty steep for a used chair in Thailand tbh, I mean I've seen perfectly good ones for like $15-20 at the Chatuchak market. Idk maybe it's just me but sitting on a cushioned yoga ball forces you to keep your core engaged which actually helped my posture more than any chair ever did.
