Just saw a stat about Chiang Mai internet speeds that blew my mind
Was reading a report from Nomad List. Said the average download speed there is 200 Mbps now. That's faster than my old home connection in Seattle. Found it while checking where to go next month. Anyone know if that's actually true on the ground?

How reliable is that speed though? I had a place in Lisbon that claimed gigabit but the router would drop out twice a day. The advertised number is one thing, but consistency is what actually matters.

Yeah the consistency thing is real. I had to switch providers after my old one kept dropping. @hannah320 might not get it but stable connection beats big numbers any day.
