Man I lost a wallet with a thumb drive in it at a gas station once, never did find it.

Haha I feel that "paranoia" thing hard. Actually I just read somewhere that most digital nomads lose data not from theft but from just being careless and distracted in unfamiliar places. Like we get so caught up in the travel vibes we forget we're carrying around someone's whole livelihood. I bet half the people in that bathroom had no idea they were sitting next to a bomb of client data lol. Honestly though this is why I keep everything on three different clouds now plus a local copy just for peace of mind.
