Serious question, does coworking space loyalty actually pay off or are we all just paying for vibes?
After spending 3 months at a WeWork in Chiang Mai and then switching to a smaller cafe co-op for half the price, I got more done at the cafe but lost three client calls due to noisy background chatter, so is the community worth the premium or is it just a tax on FOMO?

Lost three client calls to background chatter? That's wild. I would have lost my mind after the second one. You'd think a cafe co-op would have some kind of system for that, but I guess not. Did nobody warn you or was it just a free-for-all in there? Sounds like you traded one set of problems for another.

Hey been there. The sweet spot is usually a coworking place with a separate quiet zone for calls and a loud area for networking. Test drive a few for a week each, you'll quickly figure out which ones actually help you work vs just look cool on Instagram.

Honestly this is spot on. I tried a trendy spot downtown once and spent more time figuring out their weird coffee system than actually working. The quiet zone was just a hallway with lamps. You gotta test drive them first for sure.
