I was looking at my monthly expenses last week and got curious about my coworking space fees. I've been paying $350 a month for this place in Chiang Mai for the last 6 months... thinking I needed it for reliable internet. Then I pulled up my Upwork stats and saw I actually only used the space like 8 times total since January. I checked my home internet speed too, and it's actually faster than the coworking spot. So I'm out nearly $2,100 for a membership I barely touched. Has anyone else overpaid for a coworking membership without realizing it?

It's funny you say that, @charles640, because I actually just read something the other day about how most small business internet slowdowns come from cheap routers, not the actual service plan. People go out and buy this expensive office space with all the trimmings but then plug in a $40 router from five years ago (and then wonder why their video calls freeze). Getting a good mesh system or a business-grade router makes way more difference than having a fancy storefront for the modem to sit in, honestly. It's like having a sports car with bald tires, all flash and no real grip where it counts.
