Unpopular opinion: coworking spaces are overrated for actual work
I spent 6 months bouncing between coworking spots in Chiang Mai thinking they'd boost my productivity. Instead I found myself chatting with strangers and spending $15 a day on overpriced matcha. My real breakthrough came when I rented a quiet apartment with decent WiFi for $400 a month. Now I get more done before noon than I did in a full day at those hype cafes. Has anyone else ditched the coworking trend for a simple home setup?

Honestly same, I used to romanticize coworking spaces but you changed my mind.

And it's just part of a bigger thing I've noticed lately where everything feels like it's been curated and packaged to look good for Instagram instead of actually being good for real life. Coworking spaces, coffee shops, even regular stores now make you feel like you're paying for the "vibe" instead of what you actually came for. Take this with a grain of salt, but I've seen this pattern where people buy into a lifestyle idea only to realize the reality is way overpriced and not that special. It's like we're all being sold a feeling instead of a service or a product.
