Went from coworking cafes to a private campervan desk setup over 4 years
I started out typing away in noisy cafes in Bali in 2019, but now I park my van by a quiet lake in Colorado and get more done in 3 hours than I used to all day, has anyone else seen their productivity jump after changing their workspace like that?

Wait, is this really about productivity or just that you found a nicer view? I could park my desk in a quiet library downtown and probably get more done too, but that's more about changing habits than the actual spot. Sounds like you just swapped one distraction (noise) for another one (nature).

Haha, @logan_mitchell you might be onto something. Honestly, I'm probably just fooling myself into thinking a change of scenery equals a productivity boost. My brain's pretty easy to trick though, like I'll spend 20 minutes rearranging my desk and call it "strategic planning." You're right that swapping one distraction for another is just trading noise for trees, but man, those trees look way nicer than my neighbor's leaf blower. At least if I zone out staring at nature I can pretend I'm being mindful instead of lazy.

Wait, you actually WORKED in a campervan? I'm sorry but how do you even get reliable wifi out by a lake? I can barely keep a signal in my own backyard sometimes. That's wild to me.
