Bought a $40 signal blocker for my car and it actually worked
My insurance company sent me a 'safe driver' discount offer, but it needed a plug-in device to track my driving. I got a cheap GPS/Bluetooth jammer online instead. Plugged it into the cigarette lighter before a long drive. The app showed zero trip data for that whole day. Has anyone else tried something like this to stop location tracking?

That "safe driver discount" is just a polite way for them to install a spy box in your car. We're all getting tracked everywhere now.

My cousin got one of those trackers for his insurance. He started driving like a total grandma, no more quick lane changes. The funny part is, his wife still uses the car sometimes and she floors it everywhere. His score tanked and his rate actually went up. He ripped the thing out and mailed it back after three months.

Did your cousin's wife know she was messing up his score? My buddy's roommate did the same thing to him!

Turned off my location settings on the phone too.
