Compared duckduckgo to brave search for a month and brave was way better at finding local contractors

Duckduckgo kept showing me national chains when I searched for concrete guys in my area while brave gave me actual local businesses with phone numbers and addresses that were real, has anyone else noticed a big difference in search quality between privacy browsers?

Huh, you know what, I was skeptical but this is actually making me rethink things.

Man, that hits close to home - I've been burned by DuckDuckGo so many times thinking I'm getting local results when really it's just more corporate junk. Brave actually gave me a roofer's number last week that turned out to be a real guy down the street, not some call center pretending to be local. And honestly? Even my own site shows up better on Brave than DuckDuckGo, which is kind of embarrassing to admit since I built it myself. It's like DuckDuckGo is stuck in 2016 or something while Brave actually learned how to find stuff nearby.

Yeah switching to Brave made a big difference for me too. I was trying to find a plumber and DuckDuckGo kept pushing those big companies with fake reviews. Brave actually showed me a small shop two blocks away that did good work. So I'd say if local results matter to you Brave is definitely worth trying.
