Right?! I had something similar happen but with my car. I was at a mechanic complaining about my check engine light, and the next day my phone showed a targeted ad for a local transmission shop. I hadn't even googled anything about cars, I literally just said "stupid light" to my buddy. Turned off mic permissions on my phone after that but honestly it still feels like it listens sometimes. Like the other day I was telling my sister about getting a new cat and boom, pet supply ads everywhere.

Ever try turning off your phone's microphone permission for everything? That actually stopped it for me.
