Why does nobody talk about turning off the wifi on your smart TV?
I found my Samsung TV was sending a full list of every app I opened and for how long back to their servers, even with the privacy settings set to 'basic'. I only caught it by checking my router's device traffic log. What other 'dumb' devices are actually spying like this?

Check your smart speakers too... they're probably the worst. My old roomba even mapped my whole house layout.

Yeah that Roomba mapping thing is WILD. I had to factory reset my old one before selling it. For smart speakers, go into the app and delete your voice history. Amazon calls it "Voice Recordings" and Google has "My Activity". Do it every few months. Also check connected apps and skills, you'd be shocked what has access.
