Got my denial overturned after sending in a doctor's note saying 'patient cannot sit for 6+ hours' - SSDI never asked for that specific detail before
I just added that one line from my rheumatologist to my appeal packet last month and got approved in 3 weeks, has anyone else tried submitting really specific functional limitations like that?

The more specific your limitations are, the harder it is for them to deny you.

My rheumatologist wrote "patient cannot lift more than 5 pounds with right arm" and that was the magic phrase that flipped mine. I swear they need to see a concrete number or time limit in plain English, not just "has trouble sitting". Maybe try listing out exactly what you cannot do for how many minutes.
