My neighbor's advice on my ALJ hearing paid off big time
My neighbor Mike, who went through his own appeal two years ago, told me to keep a daily log of my symptoms even if it felt stupid. I did it for 8 months and brought it to my hearing in St. Louis last week. The judge actually flipped through three pages of it - has anyone else had luck with extra documentation like that?

Nah, those pages probably helped prove your case was legit.

The judge in St. Louis must have been pretty bored to flip through three whole pages. I mean, my uncle had a hearing last year and he just brought in a few notes from his doctor and it was fine. Keeping a daily log for 8 months seems like a lot of work for something that might not even matter. Unless your case is super complicated, idk if a judge really needs to read all those details. Maybe it's just me but I feel like people overthink these hearings and bring too much stuff.
