Talking to an older guy at the hearing office made me rethink my whole appeal strategy
I was waiting for my hearing last Thursday and got to chatting with this man who had been through 2 denials already. He said he spent 3 years just sending in doctor notes and lab results, never got anywhere. Then he hired someone to actually write up a real narrative explaining how his symptoms add up to meeting the SSA listing. He got approved in 4 months after that. It hit me different because I have been doing the same thing, just dumping paperwork and hoping they connect the dots. Has anyone else found that a good written summary made a bigger difference than more medical records?
