Thought getting medical records would take a week... it's been 3 months

I'm appealing a denial for my back condition, and I asked my doctor's office in Cleveland for all my records. They said 7-10 business days tops. It's been 12 weeks and I've called them 6 times, still missing the MRI reports from 2022. Has anyone else had this kind of delay hold up their appeal process?

Right? "Next week" is code for "we lost your file" lol.

Honestly, that "7-10 business days" line is such a joke. I went through the same thing with my MRI records from 2022, they kept saying "next week" for like two months straight. Ngl, it took almost 4 months before I finally got someone to actually dig through the old files and email me the right ones.

Had the same thing happen with my knee surgery records, took almost 4 months to get the right ones.
